Shoe Sole Molds – Types and Manufacturing Process
What is a shoe sole mold, what types exist (aluminum, steel, EVA, PU, rubber) and how are they made in 5 steps? Nhan Loc Phat machines precise, durable sole molds.
What is a shoe sole mold?
A shoe sole mold determines the shape, durability, look and comfort of the sole. A good mold keeps size and pattern consistent across a batch while cutting waste and raising output.
Common types
Aluminum molds (light, easy to machine, good heat transfer) for high-volume EVA and PU soles; steel molds for very durable, sharply detailed soles; EVA and PU molds for light, elastic footwear; and rubber molds for safety shoes and slip-resistant soles.
5-step process

1. 3D design to style, size and pattern.

2. CNC machining. 3. Heat treatment and polishing. 4. Inspection. 5. Trial molding.
Sole molds serve sneakers, fashion shoes and sandals, safety shoes and EVA slippers. Contact Nhan Loc Phat for advice and a quote.
